Position summary

Job description
- Installing, supporting and managing new hardware infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, security appliances.
- Configuring and supporting public cloud-based services, including our Azure and Microsoft 365 platform.

Job description
The Driver is responsible for providing reliable and safe driving services and administrative services in, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with driving rules and regulations. The Driver should always demonstrate a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 O Levels Including English language;
- clean class 4 driver’s licence;
- defensive driving certificate is a must;
- at least 2 years of work experience as a driver in an NGO, or donor funded organization with a safe driving record;
- must have basic skills in vehicle maintenance;
- knowledge of logistics; knowledge of health and safety too;
- must have good customer service skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Studying towards CILT or CILT certification an added advantage.

Research Associate

Position summary
The Research Associate will be mainly responsible for supporting research projects by conducting protocol submissions for ethical clearance, mobilisation and enrolment of research participants, data management, preliminary analysis of results and maintaining files for project researchers.
Job description
The Research Associate will be working under the direct supervision of the Research Coordinator and responsible for supporting the development of research proposals, implementation of new and existing research projects, dissemination and sharing of research outcomes. The RA will also support the advocacy teams in lobbying for the use of research results within and outside the organisation among other duties. The Research Associate will be expected to:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the compilation of all required documents and submissions to the relevant Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Facilitate IRB approvals for all research protocols and support the processes required for all IRB approvals to stay up to date.
- Assists in testing and reviewing research tools.
- Filling of research proposals, IRB approvals and other research administrative documents
- Maintain all required regulatory documentation including correspondence with relevant IRBs
- Support research project implementation according to good clinical practice (GCP), ethical principles as guided by the IRB, and the research protocol.
- Develop plans and lead the enrolment of research participants including mobilisation, screening, consenting, recruitment, follow-up, and retention.
- Assist in data collection, storage, transcription, and translation.
- Support research data cleaning and preliminary analysis and reporting writing
- Reporting of any serious adverse events or social harm to the Research Coordinator timeously.
- Participate in all research projects trainings.
- Support the Research Coordinator to supervise the data collectors who may include the Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) as applicable.
- Documentation of all participant visits and reimbursement per study protocol; accurate completion and maintenance of all field logs to track study progress and other files.
- Participate in regular research team debriefing meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health sciences or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative interviews (in-depth interviews and focus group discussions) for a research study.
- A young person with proven experience in conducting research in health facility settings and communities in Zimbabwe
- Good knowledge and understanding of HIV programmes in Zimbabwe, specifically the issues of children and young people.
- Good understanding of research methodologies and research ethics
- Demonstrable experience in conducting research and or community trainings.
- Good organisational skills, including effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- High computer literacy

The Zvandiri Associate is responsible for coordinating the scale up of Zvandiri services through technical capacity building of strategic partner organisations and service providers in a district of Zimbabwe.
Job description
The Zvandiri Associate will be working under the direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator responsible for coordinating the scale up of the Zvandiri model and Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) services through technical capacity building of MoHCC service providers and support and mentorship of CATS in a specific district. This role will include amongst other things, provision of clinical support services, coordination of Zvandiri’s project activities in the districts, in accordance with the approved project work plans ensuring timeous delivery of the project to the required quality standards. Also ensure that all beneficiaries receive the appropriate differentiated care, based on the CATS Zvandiri Intervention Model
The Zvandiri Associate will be expected to:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to MoHCC and partners on the implementation of the direct service delivery approach of the Zvandiri model focussing on HIV programming for children and adolescents.
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of HIV programs for children and adolescents.
- Coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of community workers and health care workers. P
- Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders including government agencies and other NGOs.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the organisation’s HIV programs in an assigned district.
- Analyse data, identify challenges and propose solutions to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to establish appropriate indicators and systems to track impact and effectiveness of the Zvandiri model.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, interventions, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports for internal use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or relevant social science degree
- Minimum three years’ experience in community development and/or mobilisation
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Comprehensive understanding of Child’s Rights and Laws in Zimbabwe
- Technical working knowledge of HIV
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the Ministry of Health and Child Care and Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare
- Excellent report writing and computer skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Technical Assistant

Position summary
The overall responsibility of the Technical Assistant is to work closely with Governments and implementing partners to support adoption and delivery of the Zvandiri model with fidelity. The role also includes ensuring the project is implemented in accordance with the funding partner requirements. The Technical Assistant reports to the Project Coordinator
Job description
- Technical Expertise: Provide specialised technical assistance and guidance on paediatric and adolescent HIV testing, treatment, care and support, mental health and SRH, including implementation of the Zvandiri model with fidelity. This includes providing guidance on implementing project activities, troubleshooting problems and resolving technical issues.
- Capacity building: Deliver on-site training and mentorship to enhance the knowledge and skills of Government and implementing partners. This includes ensuring that training materials, implementation tools and resources are localised and up to date.
- Program support: Development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a technical assistance plan to guide support activities, in collaboration with Government and local implementing partner. Tracking of project reach and impact.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with Government and implementing partners to implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to national and international standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other experts, health care providers and stakeholders to ensure the integration of services and alignment of project activities as per requirements of the Zvandiri model.
- Documentation: Document technical assistance activities, impact, lessons learnt and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future replication.
- Reporting: Preparing unit reports highlighting any challenges and successes including lessons learned.
Professional Qualifications, skills and experience
- Degree in health or social sciences and a Master’s degree in public health is an added advantage
- A minimum of five years’ experience in coordinating the delivery of Zvandiri through working with government in Zimbabwe
- Experience in the provision of technical assistance and capacity building to Governments and implementing partners to establish, deliver, monitor, evaluate and document the Zvandiri model with fidelity.
- Excellence in communicating the Zvandiri model, its purpose, vision and impact, and an ability to engage and inspire stakeholders to partner and collaborate with Zvandiri
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the holistic management and support of children, adolescents and young people living with HIV, across HIV, mental health, SRH and other aspects of their care.
- Excellence in strategic thinking, adapting to different contexts, whilst maintaining the integrity and fidelity of the Zvandiri model.
- Ability to work with individuals from different cultures
- Can easily adapt in any environment and works well within a team
- Excellence in critical analysis, problem solving and report writing
- Knowledge of the local language is a strong advantage
