Broadcast Content Monitoring Assistants x 8

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above positions that have arisen within BAZ for 6 months contract subject to renewal in the following areas

Binga – Fluent in Tonga, Ndebele, Shona, Nambya and English Language
Lupane – Fluent in English, Shona, Ndebele, Tonga, Kalanga and Nambya languages
Matobo – fluent in Ndebele, Kalanga and English Langauges
Zvishavane – Fluent in English, Shona, Ndebele and Kalanga Languages
Shamva – Fluent in Chewa, Shona, Ndebele and English Langauges
Harare – Fluent in English, Shona and Ndebele Languages
Kariba – Fluent in Tonga, Shona, Ndebele and English Languages

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and analysing of programme content to ensure compliance with the Act, Licence conditions,regulations and other relevant statutes
  • Preparing compliance reports and making recommendations to the supervisor
  • Providing regular feedback and liasing with the licensees on compliance matters
  • Compiling and preparing information for investigations in case of any violations or non-compliance with licence terms and conditions, regulations or other relevant statutes

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Media Studies, Communication,Journalism or any related field
  • A Degree in a related field is an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft working applications
