Civils Supervisor

Karo Platinum Private Limited, is establishing a large scale vertically integrated Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) mining and value addition complex, located in the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. The project is based on proven technologies and industry best practises

QUALIFICATIONS

Civil Engineering Diploma or related qualification
Minimum of 10 year’s experience. 5 of which should be in major mining and processing infrastructural projects.
Solid background in construction strategies within the mining and mineral processing industry.
Experience with EPCM or client teams on construction projects is preferred.
Extensive experience in the construction of large precision engineered concrete structure i.e Mill Structures, Crusher structures, thickeners, MCC and MV substation floors.

Civils Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

Supervising onsite activities to ensure attainment of required quality and productivity
Keeping accurate records of construction activities and providing reports on works completed.
Coordinating tasks whilst ensuring adherence to risk assessments and safe work methods
Monitoring and controlling all aspects relating to health and safety at construction site.
Liasing with contractors and internal teams to achieve set targets for the project.
Ensuring timely provision of required resources ro avoid bottlenecks.
