ADVENTIST DEVELOPMENT AND RELIEF AGENCY ZIMBABWE

Gokwe North Food Security and Agricultural Response (Go FAR 2) Project End of Project Evaluation MAY 2021

Introduction and Background information

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the local humanitarian and development organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Zimbabwe. ADRA’s core sectors include Holistic Health; Secure and Sustainable Livelihoods; Education; and Emergency Management.

ADRA has been implementing the USAID/OFDA/ADRA GO FAR Project in Gokwe North, Midlands since 1st July 2020 in the targeted communities. The project goal is that food insecure households in the Gokwe North District will have improved food security and improved resilience to extreme climactic shocks caused by El Niño and La Niña weather systems.

ADRA seeks to conduct an end of project evaluation to assess results of the project for the entire 14 months of project implementation (and two additional months occasioned by Covid 19 adjustments to timelines (July 2020 to 30 August 2021). The overall objective of the end of project (EOP) evaluation is to provide the project with sufficient information to compare achieved outcomes and outputs against the baseline values established at project inception.
