Matobo is a district located in the Matabeleland South province of Zimbabwe. It is situated in the southern part of the province and is bordered by the Bulawayo district to the north, the Beitbridge district to the south, the Gwanda district to the east, and the Insiza district to the west. The district is predominantly rural, with agriculture being the main economic activity. The Matobo district is known for its scenic beauty, particularly the Matobo Hills, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are home to a large population of black and white rhinoceros.
