Vacancy : Compliance Officer x 1
The Pungwe Sub-Catchment Council is a non profit making organisation, established in terms of Section 24 of the Water Act, Chapter 20:24, is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and well experienced persons for appointment to the above position which has arisen in the organisation. Successful applicant will be based at Pungwe Sub-Catchment Council and will be reporting to the Accountant.
Key Result Areas
- Customer delivery and satisfaction, loyalty and complete accurate and proactive billing
- Revenue/ Debt Collection
- Debtors Management
- Stakeholder Management on Intergrated Water Resources awareness campaigns
- Management of all client database
- Data Collection on Water permits processing
- Assist on Budgeting process
- Assist on Administration
Person Specifications
The Required applicant should meet the following specifications
- 5 O Level including Maths, English, Geography and Principles of Accounts
- Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Business Finance
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in Catchement or sub-Catchment Councils
- Must have a Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
- Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Pastel, Quickbooks or any Accounting package
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision
