Department of Pathology (Histopathology)
Post: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor (5 posts)
Qualifications
- First degree in Medicine or Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS)
- Specialist Master of Medicine (MMed) degree or equivalent in Histopathology, or for those with
- BMLS a Masters Degree in any of the Histopathology disciplines such Cytology
- Eligible to register with the MDPCZ as a specialist Histopathologist, or for those with a BMLS registration with the MLCSC as a Clinical Scientist
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate should be proficient in teaching Histopathology to undergraduate and postgraduate Medical Students. Proficiency in teaching at least two (2) of the following disciplines:
- Anatomical Pathology
- Cytopathology
- Forensic Pathology
- The candidate will be expected to take on clinical duties at Gweru Provincial Hospital.
