DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draw up timely programmes and organize academic and co-curricular school functions
- Nurture and foster a culture of diligence , discipline , timework anh honesty amongst students and staff
- Ensure timely conducting of in-service courses for teachers to enhance their effectiveness
- Implement a performance management system for both teaching and non-teaching staff and institute necessary interventions
- Chair both procurement and disciplinary committees
- Manage systematic and comprehensive methods and records of assessing pupils performances together with interventions for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant bachelors degree
- Must be computer literate in basic office package
- At least ten years teaching experience of which 3 years should have been at a supervisory level
- Experienced in the cambridge international examinations curriculum
- Highly energetic and passionate about sports
- Possess high integrity , honesty and fine interpersonal skills
- Efficiently administer public examinations
COMPETENCIES
- Must be a team player , able to work closely with and support the Headmaster
- Be able to motivate staff and students to reach their potential standards
- Effective supervisor for teaching , sport and non-teaching staff
- Must be able to implement school examinations
