Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust (PZAT) is an independent Zimbabwean entity registered as a local Trust in August of 2012 (MA/909/2012). PZAT strives to transform the lives of people living with and affected by HIV by working to ensure their access to comprehensive HIV and sexual health services delivered in safe and supportive environments. PZAT has led and engaged in several programmatic and research activities focused on key affected populations in partnership with the MOHCC and academic, local and multi-national partners. PZAT as a partner in the ZimPAAC consortium is working with the MOHCC to improve access to HIV prevention, care and treatment services for key and priority population groups in six districts: Harare, Mazowe, and 4 in Matabeleland North province.

Position Summary
The DSIEO will provide overall support for strategic information and evaluation to the DREAMS districts (Matabeleland North), the Key Population Program in Harare and AGYW program in Mazowe. The position is responsible and accountable for improving the quality of data generated by the districts, facility, and community service delivery platforms, as well as ensuring that data are accurately entered and reported timely onto the DHIS2 Database. The DSIEO works closely with the Programmes Officer/ Field Officer as well as relevant stakeholders in the district and technically reports to the Strategic Information Coordinator.

October 2022 to September 2023.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- The DSIEO will provide overall support for all SIE activities in the district of implementation.
- The DSIEO will ensure timely entry of data into DHIS2, Cleaning and analysis of programme Data;
- Monitor programme data generating process for ensuring high data quality standards across the activities;
- Generate all SIE reports at district level and support overall reporting of the programme data;
- Participate in strategic meetings and share SIE updates, progress on facility and community data management and data quality improvement activities and challenges;
- Train/mentor and build the capacity of DREAMS teams on SIE activities and data quality including coaching both SIE and program teams on optimal utilization of the DHIS2 database;
- Ensure timely data abstraction and reporting of the specific covered indicators in the district;
- Analyze routine weekly/monthly/quarterly data and provide feedback to programs on facility and community level performance, support documentation of best practices;
Qualifications and Experience
- A quantitative Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, M&E, Public Health, Operations research, and other relevant related BSc in Health Sciences;
- A Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public health, biostatistics, M&E or similar will be an added advantage;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated practical skills in health-related programmes monitoring;
- Proficiency and competency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and DHIS2 is a must;
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
