Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has an exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Head Office in Harare.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to fill the vacant post of ICT Administrator on a 3 year fixed -term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance
Job Vacancy : ICT Administrator
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- A First Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from a reputable institution
- A Holder of Microsoft Certificate (MSCE) or similar
- A minimum of 7 years post graduate experience
- Administration of server technology and network (wired, wireless, switching, security and routing) computing systems
- Managing and administration of Microsoft 365 Products, Windows Servers, Exchange Online in a virtualised environment
- Hands on experience of the following SAP Technical Modules (Workflow, Security, ABAP, BI, Basis) will be an added advantage
- Strong client focus and genuine desire to work with people
- Ability to prioritise a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
- Working knowledge of SHE and Quality Management systems and exposure to NOSA SHE system will be an added advantage
Key Performance Areas
- Maintanance of the ICT Standards for computer systems access control and security
- Achievement of High levels of data integrity through systems monitoring procedures
- Regular implementation housekeeping procedures, including schedules and manual data backups
- Liase with Software suppliers to coordinate and implement systems updates
- Generate technical reports on the operation of systems
- Adherence to ICT Policies , procedures , standards , and audits as per plan
- Provision of Client Support Services to Senior Staff
- System security and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Research and Advisory Services on emerging technologies
