Vacancy : Internal Auditor
Overall Job Responsibility
Reporting administratively to the Principal Officer and Functionally to the Board Audit Committee. The successful candidate will be required to perform the following key functions
- To establish, implement and maintain a risk-based audit plan
- Evaluate their internal controls relating to governance, operations and information systems in place to verify the safeguarding of Fund Assets
- Review Levels of compliance with established policies, processes, controls and statutory obligations
- Monitor that the identified risks and the agreed actions to address them are accurate , complete and current
- Evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness of the Fund’s Risk Management compliance functions
- Provide secretarial services to the Audit Committee
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Equivalent from a recognised University
- Membership of a recognised and relevant professional institution
- At least 3 years relevant experience in the Auditing Field
