LECTURER – DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK (VARIOUS CAMPUSES) X 20 POSTS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions which have arisen at the Women’s University in Africa, FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND GENDER TRANSFORMATIVE SCIENCES.
LECTURER – DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK (VARIOUS CAMPUSES) X 20 POSTS
- Harare Campus x 6 (3 Full-time and 3 Part-time)
- Bulawayo Campus x 6 (2 Full-time and 4 Part-time)
- Kadoma Campus x 3 (1 Full-time and 2 Part-time)
- Mutare Campus x 6 (3 Full-time and 3 Part-time)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teaching a full load of a Full time/Part-time lecturer;
- Coordinating academic activities for Social Work students;
- Researching;
- Community service;
- Helping in the recruitment of students; and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Departmental Chairperson.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work
- Master of Science in Social Work
- Bachelor of Science in Social Work
Experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience in lecturing at University level; and
- A self-starter who can work under pressure with minimum supervision
