Vacancy : Office Assistant/Caretaker

REPORTS TO: Administration Assistant

GRADE: 13

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Cleaning of offices and toilets
Compiling of list of detergents required for cleaning
Preparing and serving teas for both individual employees and during the meetings
Washing up all utensils
Collecting office mail, newspapers, files and other documents to the respective destinations
Operating photocopiers
Administration of assets such as participating in stock taking, labelling of assets and pitching tents during ZEC functions
Maintaining inventory for kitchen utensils
Performing any other duties as dully delegated by the superiors
Inspecting and monitoring building
Notifying Administration Officer of the necessity for any repairs or maintenance e.g. door handles, leaks, fallen blinds, etc.
Assisting with enquiries and directing workmen and contractors to site of repair and maintenance
Carrying out non-specialist building maintenance work
Maintaining of grounds
Cleaning outside hard areas, gullies and drains
Replacing/changing light bulbs and replacing fittings where necessary
Any other related duties as directed by superiors.

5 “O” Level passes
Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and public relations skills
