Vacancy : Registered General Nurse
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To run the industrial clinic as per the Ministry of Health guidelines
- Ensure patient health care records are maintained and accurate
- Administer medications to patients based on conditions and symptoms
- Order clinical and medical diagnostic exam and tests
- Evaluate and manage patient care plans
- Counsel patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance
- Interpret diagnostic exams and tests to identify patient conditions
- Supervise the work of locum nurses , nursing aides and assistants
- Guarantee that patient confidentiality is respected and kept intact
- Ensure all medical equipment used is up to date and functions properly
- Document all actions and any irregularities so that the visiting doctors are aware of the current state of the patient and the clinic
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
- Assist in running the Employee wellness programs
- Participate in SHEQ issues pertaining to the clinic
Registered General Nurse QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- The ideal candidates must obtain a Diploma in General Nursing and be a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Diploma in Midwifery or any other relevant post basic qualifications will be an added advantage
- Registered with Zimbabwe Nurses Council
- Must have a current practicing certificate
- At latest 3 years of working experience
