Vacancy : Secretary / Treasurer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling the financial transactions in accordance with the policy of he sub catchment council
- Keeping of the books of accounts in accordance with the policy and procedures
- Writing of all minutes and filling council documents
- Prepare and present annual budget and monthly financial reports timeously
- Prepare monthly payments and tax returns
- Advice on council budget performance and funds inflows
- Receipting of the water users payments
- Prepare all receipts , vouchers and documents to support financial transactions
- Compilation of the asset register , correspondences and debtors list
- Prepares the bank reconciliation petty cash and cash books
- Ensure secretarial duties are done
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher National Diploma in Accounts /Finance
- Degree in Accounts / Finance
- Possession of CIS / ACCA /SAA an added advantage
- Knowledge in accounting packages and software
