Vacancy : Senior Administration Officer
REPORTS TO : Deputy Provincial Elections Officer
Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the Provincial Asset Register;
- Supervising the Transport and Vehicle Fleet;
- Inventory management and control of consumables;
- Initiating processes for assets disposal;
- Maintenance and insurance of ZEC infrastructure and equipment;
- Initiating accident inquiries;
- Conducting Boards of Survey for obsolete materials and equipment;
- Conducting regular stock take and assessment of storage facilities;
- Compiling stock, assets and inventory returns;
- Fuel Management for the province;
- Keeping an up to date inventory and asset register;
- Keeping the securities register;
- Efficient provision of utilities and administrative services ;
- General administration and supervision of secretarial services to election committees.
Qualifications / Job Specifications
- A minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Advanced IAC Diploma or Public Administration from an accredited tertiary institution;
- Computer proficiency, particularly in Excel and / SAP;
- Exposure to public administration procedures is an advantage;
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Administration;
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure;
- Possession of a clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
