Vacancy : Systems Support Administrator
Reporting to the ICT Manager , the incumbent will be mainly responsible for the administration of all ICT systems technical environment related technologies , and applications to ensure maintenance of system performance at optimum levels
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing , upgrading and configuring software and hardware
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Setting up user accounts and workstations
- Monitoring ICT systems performance and maintaining them according to requirements
- Troubleshooting all ICT related issues and outages
- Ensuring security on all ICT related gadgets through access controls , backups and firewalls
- Upgrading systems with new releases and models
- Assists in the development of ICT related expertise by training staff
- Assists in the development of technical documentation , manuals and ICT related policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in computer science or equivalent degree
- At least 3 years working experience in a related field
- Professional certification (e.g microsoft certified systems administrator (MCSA) ) Sophos , firewall , CCNA , Linux is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 HANA is an added advantage
- Proven experience as a system/network administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases , networks (LAN ,WAN ) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security and data backup /recovery
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean class 4 driver’s license a must
