DEPARTMENT OF FUELS AND ENERGY ENGINEERING
Technician/Senior Technician- Electronic Engineering (1 Post)
Qualifications
- ND/HND in Electronic communication systems/Instrumentation and Control/BEng/BSc/BTech Electrical and electronic engineering/Electronic and Telecommunication systems
- Vast hands-on experience in workshop practice
- Experience as a trainer or as an instructor at higher education and or tertiary education levels will be advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be required among other things to:-
- Set up a fabrication engineering workshop
- Install, test, commission new electronic equipment.
- Repair and maintain workshop equipment/tools
- Carry out electronic and instrumentation related lab work and projects.
- Train students and conduct research and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepare students for trade testing
