Vacancy : Technician /Senior Technician (1 Post) – Mineral Processing
Qualifications and Experience
- A National Diploma in Mineral Processing/ Extractive Metallurgy/ Metallurgical Assaying.
- At least 1 year working experience
- Working experience in the mining industry would be an added advantage.
Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be required, among other duties, to:
- Carry out mineral processing and extractive metallurgy lab work (ore sampling, testing using analytical equipment and instruments)
- Coordinate and supervise mineral processing and extractive metallurgy laboratory practicals and research work.
- Assist in third stream income projects.
- Train students and assist in conducting research projects and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
