Vacancy : Technician
Job Summary
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions which have arisen within Volsec Security P/L. The candidates will be based in Harare.
Technician Duties And Responsibilities
- Conducting site surveys on new security systems projects, upgrades and repairs, preparing quotations, advising the recommendations to customers and negotiating service level agreements.
- CCTV installation, configuring, commissioning and maintenance. Internet protocol, cameras and HD cameras.
- Intrusion alarms system installation, commissioning and maintenance
- Access control systems installation, commissioning and maintenance
- Electric fence, automatic boom gates, automated gates installation, commissioning and maintenance.
- Identifying electronics equipment suppliers
- Offer full customer technical support.
- Involved in all electronics security installations that is Alarms, CCTV, Access control systems, electric fences, gate automations and training.
Qualifications And Experience
- Proven work experience as an electrical engineer, or similar role
- Solid knowledge of CCTV, Alarms, control systems installations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Diploma; additional qualifications in alarms or CCTV are a plus
- Valid and Clean Class 4 Driver’s License
