Job : Legal Advisor (Head Office)

Summary

The position is responsible for provision of legal advice to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides Legal Advice to the business
  • Negotiates, draft and reviews contracts and other legal documents
  • Prepares position papers making recommendations for possible changes in legislation
  • Participates in the negotiation of contracts
  • Reviews submitted draft company policies to ensure they conform to legal requirements
  • Ensures the company is compliant with all legal requirements in its operations
  • Liaises with and instructs external lawyers where necessary
  • Monitors progress of legal cases on continuous basis
  • Maintains registers of requests for legal advice, requests for drafting and reviewing contracts and legislation, signed contracts, outsources cases, new cases, pending cases and finalised cases, databases of court judgements and legal opinions

Knowledge and Skills

  • Commercial practice
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate at all levels

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLBS)
  • Registered Legal practitioner
  • At least 4 years working experience Legal practice in a commercial environment
  • A clean class 4 Drivers Licence

Job : Assistant Plant Operator – Mabvuku Depot

Summary

The position is responsible for assisting in monitoring the product interface in the pipeline, pipeline reciepts and inter-bank transfers

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting product samples for measurement of density
  • Assists in monitoring transfer and interface of product on pumped volumes
  • Assist in taking dips and maintaining records
  • Assists in loading bay processes
  • Any other duties which may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Attributes

  • Unquestionable integrity
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

Knowledge and Skills

  • Appreciation of workplace health, safety and environmental practices
  • Knowledge of Quality management systems

Qualifications

  • City and Guilds Certificate in Process Plant Operation/ NC in Process Technology
  • 5 O Levels including English Language and Mathematics
  • At least 1 year relevant working experience in the oil industry

Job : Electrical Technician Mabvuku

Summary

The position is responsible for attending to electrical faults and preventive maintenance

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending to electrical faults
  • Planning and carrying out preventive maintenance
  • Carrying out new installations
  • Supervision of subordinates
  • Inducting and Training subordinates and students on attachment

Qualifications

  • 5 O Levels including English Language and Mathematics
  • A Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • A clean class 4 Driver’s Licence is a requirement

Knowledge and Skills

  • Health and Safety
  • Computer skills
  • Quality management systems

Job : Receptionist Mabvuku

Summary

The position is responsible for manning the reception and routing of incoming and outgoing calls

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing Visitors, Clients, and stakeholders to respective offices
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls
  • Assist staff with secretarial services
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assisting with administration functions

Knowledge and Skills

  • Answering and making calls
  • Customer Care skills
  • ICT skills
  • Quality management systems

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 O Levels including English Language
  • Secretarial Studies Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • 2 years relevant working experience

Job : Driver/ Messenger Mabvuku & Msasa Depots

Summary

Safely Transporting passengers and goods from one point to another

Duties

  • Delivering and Collecting mail
  • Driving staff and guests
  • General maintenance of assigned vehicle
  • Collecting quotations from would be suppliers
  • Updating logbook and reconciling fuel and mileage
  • Driving vehicles to and from garages and updating service records
  • Cleaning vehicles

Qualifications

  • 5 O Levels including English Language
  • Clean Class 1 Drivers License
  • Valid retest and medical
  • Valid Defensive Driver certificate
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Tact and Diplomacy
  • Good presentation
  • Confidentiality
