Job Title : Professor Biochemistry

Number of needed experts : 1

Job Responsibilities

Teaching activities and clinical practices, mentorship , and according to guidlines provided by the National Curriculum Framework under the overall guidance of the University of Rwanda – College of Medicine and Health Sciences
Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to all students under the leadership of an assigned school or Teaching sites/ Teaching hospitals
Adopting and working towards the implementation of the school / teaching sites development plan where they are giving service in
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development , reports and references relating to individual students or groups of students
Assigning work, correcting, and marking work carried out by his/her students
Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers
Planning and performing practical activities through innovative and problem – oriented teaching methodology
Combining theory and scholarly excellence along with research elements to achieve brilliance in health professions teaching and development

Minimum Qualification

Full Professor with PhD in Biochemistry, preferably with a medical undergraduate background

Experience

At least 5 years’ experience in teaching and hands on clinical practice, supervision , mentorship , and a research track record in the field of biochemistry, including all relevant major area, to undergraduate and graduate students with multidisciplinary programs
