The University of Zimbabwe wishes to to advise August 2022 prospective students  that the first round selection process is now complete. View the full list on www.uz.ac.zw and on University of Zimbabwe Facebook page. Successful applicants for August 2022 should take note of the following important information 

Successful Undergraduate Applicants

Registration 

  • Offer letters are obtainable from Faculty Offices 
  • Successful applicants must visit www.emharare.uz.ac.zw for online registration after payment of Full Fees. Applicants must use their Registration Numbers as username and Surname in Capital Letters as the password for the purposes of online registration. Details of full fees are shown at http://www.uz.ac.zw/index.php/current-students/undergraduates/fees
  • The University does not reserve places for first year students who are not registered within allowable period 
  • Succesful applicants must visit their faculty offices together with their original birth certificate , ID, O Level certificate and A Level result slips for verification of their qualifications 
  • Succesfull applicants must then visit the Reprographics unit to get a student identity card for verification of their qualifications 
  • Succesful applicants must then visit the Reprographics unit to get a student identity card . This marks the end of the Registration Process 

Fees 

  • Fees must be deposited at any Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ) branch nationwide using the bank Account Details shown below . Please quote the correct student registration number (which is indicated against your name, which starts with R22….) when you process the deposit

STUDENTS CAN ALSO PAY USING ECOCASH BY LOGGING INTO THEIR ACCOUNTS ON EMHARE. ONCE LOGGED IN STUDENTS SHOULD LOOK FOR PAY USING ECOCASH.

Accommodation 

  • Limited on campus accommodation will be available on a first come served basis . The accommodation portal on Emhare will be activated on August 1 2022 to allow August 2022 intake to access University Accommodation 
  • The link is www.emhare.uz.ac.zw. Students must use their Registration numbers as username and surname in capital letters as password 
  • For accomodation fees kindly visit http://www.uz.ac.zw /index.php/current-students/undergraduates
  • Students must pay the accomodation fees in 48 hours once allocated a room . Failure to pay results in the revocation of the allocated room
  • Students can pay for accomodation using the banking details shown under item 2 or can log into their Emhare account and use ECOCASH
  • Students must have completed the online registration exercise first before they can apply for accomodation
