Hippo Valley Valley Estates Ltd – Triangle Ltd

Hippo Valley Estates Ltd and Traingle Ltd- (the Company) are situated in the South- Eastern Lowveld of Zimbabwe and together from a large agricultural concern. The company’s operations mainly comprise of sugarcane farming and milling, sugar production, ethanol production, game, livestock farming. The company owns and operates two hospitals, and five clinics on both Estates

The Company invites tenders from bona fide companies that have proven capability in the supply of;

Provision of Various Medical Supplies

Lot 1 : Supply of Medical Drugs or Medicine Supplies
Lot 2 : Surgical Supplies
Lot 3 : Medical Laboratory Supplies
Lot 4 : Supply for Environmental Pesticides

Bidders are required to ensure their tenders quote competitive delivered prices

General Requirements

• Proof of ownership of Company (Certificate of Incorporation, CR6 – List of Directors and Secretaries, CR5 – Proof of Registered Address)
• Company profile with at least three contactable trade references
• Vat registration certificate
• Valid ZIMRA Tax Clearance Certificate
• Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Accreditation, SHE Policy
• Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe Permit – Wholesale Dealers Permit and or Manufacturer’s permit

All applications should provide detailed and verifiable documentation in compliance with the relevant laws

Soft Copies of the tender documents are obtainable from the Tender Committee on tender-queires@tongaat.com after payment on a non refundable security fee of US$250 (two hundered and fifty united states dollars) or equivalent ZWL at prevailing average RBZ Auction rate. In the event that THZ cancels the tender, all tenders will be re-imbursed the non-refundable security fees.

Banking Details will be provided on request from this email. Tenderers must also complete and sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before tender documents are issued

Soft Copies of the submissions should be emailed to medicalsupplies@tongaat.com no later than 30 August 2023 at 1000hrs. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No Hard Copies will be accepted

The Tender Committee will be responsible for the tender adjudication and its decision, shall be final. The tender Committe shall not be obliged to accept the lowest or any tender shall be under no obligation to give reasons for the rejection of a tender so received

Please be advised that any attempt to canvas for the purposes of unethically improving the Tenderer’s chances of being awarded this contract shall result in automatic disqualification from the tender process. Triangle limited and Hippo Valley Estates Limited are members of the ”Whistle-Blowers Tip-Off Anonymous”
