2023/2024 First Semester Dates
The University of Zimbabwe wishes to advice its students and stakeholders as follows
- The First Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year will commerce on Monday, 4 September 2023 with the Orientation of First Year Students, who will also have the opportunity to witness the 42nd University of Zimbabwe Graduation Ceremony on 8 September 2023
- First year students who have secured University accommodation are expected to check in into their respective residences on Monday 4 September 2023 and report for Orientation in the Great Hall at 8;00am on 5 September 2023
- Normal Classes for the 2023/2024 First Semester will commence on Monday 11 September 2023 and end on friday, 15 December 2023
- Returning students who have secured university accommodation are expected to check into their residences on 10 September 2023
- Registration of returning students is scheduled from 1 to 31 August 2023
- All students are required to be registered by stipulated deadline and only bonafide students will be allowed to attend classes and sit for examinations
