Zimbabwe Power Company is the leading Generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five power stations. The company is inviting suitably qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following positions based at Kariba South Power Station .

Job : Principal Engineer Maintenance
Qualifications and Experience
- A Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Equivalent
- Membership of a Recognised Professional Institution
- 6 years relevant experience of which 3 years should be at a Senior level
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the execution of planned, preventive & corrective maintenance to meet set plant availability and reliability
- Executes plant outage programmes & statutory inspections
- Implements specified planned station projects
- Staff management and development
- Ensures compliance to intergrated management systems (MIS) in the Maintenanca section
- Supervises Maintenance sections (Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Civil & Garage)
Job : Principal Engineer Projects and Planning (1 Post)
Qualifications and experience
- A Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Membership of a recognised professional institution
- A qualification in Project Management & knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
- 6 years relevant experience of which 3 years should be at senior level
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and produces a five year maintenance rolling plan for the station
- Prepares and produces yearly maintenance plans for the station
- Prepares, plans, coordinates and tracks major overhauls, major outages and statutory inspections
- Monitors and controls implementation of major overhauls and statutory outage works for the station to meet specified targets
- Ensures effective utilisation of the computerised maintenance management system at the station
- Co-ordinates preparation of tender documents and management of all station capital projects
Job : Clinic Sister (1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in General Nursing
- MCAZ Forensic is a must
- Current Nurses practising certificate is a must
- OSHEMAC Certificate is an added advantage
- Post Basic Course is an added advantage
- 5 years relevant experience
Duties and responsibilities
- Treating patients according to findings and carries out reviews
- Refers patients for further management where need be
- Maintains current knowledge of industrial safety and medical best practices
- Accounts for all medicines issues
- Carries all duties within the conferments of occupational Health and Safety Legislation and regulations
- Carries out all activities in accordance with environmental and Quality management systems procedures
- Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to industrial clinical operations
Formulates and implements health wellness programs
Coordinates the activities of Nurses, Nurse Aides and or Drivers
